2011 Preview: Special Teams

Punter Marc Ray, a former all-conference honoree, has graduated but senior Cameron Murray (Glen Allen, Va.) who has handled the kickoff chores the past two seasons while serving as backup punter, emerged from spring drills as the leading candidate to replace Ray. Redshirt sophomore David Eberhardt (Chesapeake, Va.) will back up at punter.

Placekicker Jeff Sexton, who has converted 39 consecutive PAT attempts, returns and will be pushed by James Devens, who showed his range in spring ball booting a 47-yarder in one of the controlled scrimmages.
